Aaron Olson JD, MBA, CFP®, ChFC®, RICP®
Financial Representative
I believe in running a professional style wealth management practice. I value the research and guidance of leading industry authorities and following the professional standards set forth by industry’s major academic and credentialing bodies. My approach is both thoughtful and thorough. Though I enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds, I’ve found my client base gravitates towards individuals with more complex situations such as parents with special needs children, veterans, business owners, sole proprietors, or individuals nearing retirement.
I am a long-term high achiever and intellectual. I graduated from Bemidji State University in 2012 with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in fraud examination. Though I was always interested in pursuing a career in professional finance, the industry had not yet recovered from market collapse in 2008. As such, I decided to explore graduate programs and was awarded a full ride academic scholarship at Southern Illinois University School of Law to pursue a concurrent Juris Doctors – Masters of Business Administration degree (JD, MBA), and I graduated in 2015 distinguished as a Law Honors Scholar. I passed the Washington State Bar Exam shortly after and briefly practiced family law. I started in the financial services industry as an advisor with Bank of America – Merrill Lynch and have since gone on to serve in a number of analytical roles with nationally recognized teams working with high networth clients such as c-suite executives, business owners, professional athletes before opening my own practice in December of 2019. I currently hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations.
My past times include tennis, hockey, and writing.
