Marie Marks, CFP
Marie brings over 30 years of Retirement Plan and Financial Services experience to the firm. Marie attended Indiana Central University and received the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning, Denver, CO, and is series 7, 8, 24, 65, 6, 63 Securities Licensed. She also maintains life and health licenses.
Marie has been recognized as a leader in her industry, including recognition by Mayor Ballard and the City of Indianapolis for her role in Financial Planning day as well as working with President G.W. Bush office, to select the senior citizens to his Round Table discussion. She was also named one of The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA’s) top women advisors All-Stars. Marie has been a contributor and resource to many publications including USA Today and the Indianapolis Star. She has served on many boards including, the Indianapolis Chapter of the Financial Planners Association, Director of Public Relations, President of the Volunteer League at Fatima Retreat House, Riverview Health Philanthropic Board and VP of BAGI, Builder Association of Greater Indianapolis. She has been named to Who’s Who International Professional Business Women and received the All-American Team Decade of Achievement from the American Funds Group.
Marie and her husband Paul have three children and reside in the Geist area in a home they built themselves by hand, with the help of friends and family. Marie loves the outdoors and enjoys traveling to new locations. She enjoys photography, hiking, sailing, skiing and is an avid reader.
